In April 2025, the tragic story of Kemi, a young mother whose cries for help went unanswered went viral.

Tragically, both she and her baby lost their lives. Her husband and family were left to navigate grief, questions, and the reality of preventable loss.

Her story is not unique. Every day, Nigerian families lose mothers and babies due to lack of timely care and systemic gaps in maternal health.
